Introduction:
As we bid adieu to 2024, we at Balkrishna centre for autism & rehabilitation take pride in reflecting on our accomplishments, which have been instrumental in transforming lives. This year has been a testament to our dedication, perseverance, and passion for delivering exceptional services in occupational therapy and speech therapy, special education and behavioural therapy.
Reaching New Horizons:
One of our most significant achievements has been expanding our reach to areas where occupational therapy and speech therapy are uncommon. We have successfully established our presence in Modasa, Mandsaur, Shajapur, and Dhar, bridging the gap in healthcare services for these communities.
Empowering Underprivileged Children:
In noble cause and giving back to society, Our partnership with Manovruddhi School has enabled us to provide quality services to underprivileged children. We are committed to making a positive impact on their lives, and this collaboration has been a significant step in that direction.
Team Expansion and Development:
We have strengthened our team by adding 10 qualified occupational therapists, 3 qualified speech therapists, 5 skilled staff members, 5 support staff, and 1 special educator. This expansion has not only enhanced our capacity but also fostered a culture of excellence.
Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building:
We have trained 5 students and 5 interns across psychology, occupational therapy, social worker, special educator , behaviour therapist, speech therapist,sharing our expertise and contributing to the growth of the profession. Additionally, 4 of our team members have earned postgraduations, and 3 have completed skill-enhancing programs, demonstrating our commitment to continuous learning.
Service Delivery and Impact:
Our three centers have delivered over 2500+ 1:1 sessions across three different streams, with almost 25 group sessions conducted. This has enabled us to make a tangible difference in the lives of our clients.
Systematic Approach and Communication:
We have developed a system of working in groups and enhancing communication, ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
National Recognition and Milestones:
Balkrishna centre celebrates 9 years of existence, marking a significant milestone in our journey. We have also taken our center to the national platform, showcasing our expertise and commitment to excellence.
Knowledge Dissemination and Parental Guidance:
One of our team members has taken on a teaching role, sharing professional skills with others. We have also initiated programs for parental guidance, training, and supervision, empowering parents to support their children’s development.
